Marmalade Pudding
If you are looking for a delicious pudding, try this easy recipe made with our Marmalade Fruit Cake.
Ingredients (serves approximately 8 people):
- 1 x Simply Delicious Marmalade Loaf Cake
- 3 eggs
- 200ml cream
- 65ml creme fraiche
- Demerara sugar
Slice the Marmalade cake into approximately 10 slices. Whisk the cream, creme fraiche and eggs together. Grease an ovenproof dish and cover the bottom of the dish with a third of the cake, you may have to cut the slices to fit the shape of the dish. Pour a third of the cream mixture over the cake and follow with another layer of cake and cream and repeat again so you have three layers. Sprinkle with Demerara sugar and bake in oven 180 degrees for approximately 30minutes until the pudding feels set to the touch and is golden brown. Serve with ice cream or cream. Try sprinkling a few walnuts or flaked almonds between each layer before cooking.
