Milly’s Chocolate Brownie Recipe For Valentine’s Day!
We don’t know about you, but the way to our hearts is definitely with delicious food, like our tasty chocolate brownies.
As Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, we decided to spread a little love by sharing our very own chocolate brownie recipe so that you can handmake these chocolatey goodies for the special people in your lives! It’s bound to put a smile on their faces and shows that you really care.
Ingredients:
125g dark chocolate, 70% cocoa solids
100g milk chocolate
225g butter
1 teaspoon coffee
200g soft light brown sugar
3 eggs
90g ground almonds
Chopped walnuts, white chocolate, chopped hazelnuts (optional)
Recipe:
1. Melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave or in a bowl over hot water.
2. Leave to cool and beat the sugar and eggs together until slightly thickened.
3. Add the ground almonds and coffee to the sugar and egg mixture and beat again and then add the chocolate and butter and whisk until all incorporated.
4. Spoon into a 9” (24cm) square tin and bake at 175 degrees for approximately 25 minutes. You can add any chopped nuts, white chocolate chunks or mini eggs (optional) to the mixture before you put them in the oven.
There is no flour in this recipe so perfect for those that are gluten-free. Enjoy!
